CALENDAR FOR September 2026

9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25:  sign-waving in Cleveland, GA., from 4 - 6 pm, at the corner of Main Street and Helen Highway in front of Ingles.  Bring your own sign or wave one of ours. Join a great group of compassionate citizens every Friday, feel empowered and help us make a difference! 

9/13:  Meeting of the 9th Congressional District county chairs and Democratic leaders at the Gainesville Civics Center, 830 Green Street in Gainesville, 2-5 pm.  Judge Penny Brown Reynolds, running for Secretary of State in Georgia, will speak about election integrity and protecting your voting rights.

9/19: Simple Breakfast at the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center, 283 Highway 255 N., Sautee Nacoochee, GA from 8-10 am.  Come enjoy a free pancake, sausage, juice and coffee breakfast with friends and neighbors- donations appreciated.

9/19:White County Democratic Committee Fall Fundraiser- The Page Brothers in concert on Saturday, September 19th, from at the Historic Gym at the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center, 283 Highway 255 N., Sautee Nacoochee, GA, 7 - 9 pm.  Volunteers are needed for this event to help make it a success, with the money raised going to help fund WCDC efforts to help get Democrats elected here in northeast Georgia. 9/23:  Free food distribution at the First Presbyterian Church, 147 N. Main Street, Cleveland, GA. from 9:15 am to 1:00 pm.  Come help pack and distribute food to whomever is in need- volunteers have a true sense of camaraderie at this event and recipients are very appreciative.

9/24:  Next meeting of the White County Democratic Committee, 6:30 pm- location to be announced later. Don't forget your dollars for the 50/50 raffle!

9/27:  Canvassing in White County with WCDC.   Meet at the Cleveland Library, 10 Colonial Drive in Cleveland, at 1pm  to visit strong and leaning Democrats in White County, encouraging them to get out and vote in November.  We need people to drive, compile data and talk to voters.  Be on the lookout for pop-up canvassing opportunities, too!
